Rev. Mary A. Harris
Driven by a passion born from experience, Rev. Mary A. Harris has dedicated the past decade to understanding and developing tools to help women in need. A survivor of domestic violence, drug addiction and other barriers that affect women. Rev. Harris is now an accomplished business woman, wife, mentor, mother, grand-mother, leader in the community, leader in her church and is currently working on the publication of her book and devotional that will be released in 2013.
Rev. Harris holds a BSW- Bachelors in Social Work from Spring Arbor University and is currently obtaining her Masters in Science Management. Rev. Harris believes strongly in the Word of God as the deciding factor in her life. Rev. Harris participates in various organizations that help those in need in the community, and the local high schools. She also believes that with a working relationship with the Lord all things are conquerable and possible.
Rhama Word House Ministries
Rhama Word House Ministries first office was located at 635 Louisa St in Lansing MI in 2011 until a flooding in July destroyed all of our possessions. This act of nature would allow God's favor to shine upon our humble beginnings. The community of Lansing MI rallied to the aid of our non-profit organization and poured out financial and monetary donations which allowed us to purchase our current home and office space on the West Side of Lansing MI.
Incorporated in 2009 as an organization that would offer a safe haven with affordable housing to women coming from prison, jail and/or treatment we opened our doors in September of 2011. Since that time RWH has expanded into various opportunities for work of the kingdom. We believe that OUR house is a beginning point of transition for ALL who need to be loved by God.
